A Publisher, also known as an affiliate, is an owner or provider of any online media or sources of traffic (termed "traffic sources") on which ads can be published and seen by visitors. Examples include website owners, email marketers, search engine marketers, media buyers, social media application owners, etc.

3. What is Affiliate Marketing?
There are two major online advertising thoroughfares: affiliate programs and ad networks.
Adsmarket is an affiliate program, a performance-based system through which Advertisers pay commissions to
Publishers for each lead or sale they generate, commonly referred to as CPA (Cost Per Action).
In an ad network, by contrast, commissions are based on the number of times an ad is shown
(CPM, or Cost Per Thousand Impressions), or the number of times an ad is clicked (CPC, or Cost Per Click).
Why is performance so important?
Our Advertisers see results! Advertisers like our system because they pay only for leads and sales,
while receiving a dose of free branding through impressions and clicks. They know that we are working
hard to boost sales by displaying their ads on media that is targeted to their industry sector.
Our Publishers make money!
Publishers are happy seeing the value of their traffic increase through this system.
We pair their media with relevant top-converting ads and display these ads according to advanced traffic targeting capabilities,
increasing their chance of conversion. Not only this, but through our advanced targeting tools, better performing ads get
more 'airtime', so a Publisher can boost revenue quickly.
Our role is very important:
Adsmarket acts as the "neutral meeting point", a place where Advertisers and Publishers
can find mutual benefit and start making more money!
Through our customized in-house technology, we serve ads to Publishers for Advertisers, and target them to a Publisher’s traffic.
We track all visitor conversion activity and report back to the Publisher and Advertiser,
and are also compatible with server-to-server tracking.
Adsmarket acts as a reliable financial escrow account: we collect money from our Advertisers and pay our Publishers.
Performance-based affiliate marketing is widely recognized as the most reliable and profitable source of revenue,
added site value, and brand enhancement. As a leader among affiliate programs, Adsmarket provides superior technology,
unrivaled customer service to our clients, and delivers results.
4. What is performance marketing or CPA?
Performance marketing means that results are measured in leads or sales, collectively termed "acquisitions" (the "A" in "CPA", or cost per acquisition). While some networks offer payouts based on impressions, called CPM (cost per mille or 1 thousand impressions) or clicks, called CPC (cost per click), Adsmarket is a CPA network. With CPA, Publishers earn commissions for acquisitions (leads or sales) originating from their traffic source. To our Publishers' benefit, it's in our Advertisers' interests to create the most appealing creatives and offers, and test them for the best conversion rates in order to drive results.

11. How are conversions from my traffic sources tracked?
When a conversion takes place that originates from your traffic source, it is tracked by one of two methods: tracking pixel or server-to-server integration.
Tracking pixels are small pieces of code that are placed on an Advertiser's thank-you page. When a visitor arrives to the thank-you page, the pixel loads and reports a conversion to Adsmarket, in real time, and you are automatically credited with a pending commission for that conversion.
Server-to-server integration (or secure code tracking) is for Advertisers who are unable to load cookie-based pixels on thank-you pages. For these types of offers (ringtone campaigns, etc.) the Advertiser tracks the actual conversion on their server and we corroborate this data with our own (gathered from a pixel placed on the last online page available before conversion). With your account, you will have access to reports to view and evaluate all tracked activity.

12. What's the difference between pending and approved balances?
Your pending balance is made up of all commissions from conversions generated that have not yet been approved by the Advertiser. Your approved balance is made up all commissions from conversions generated that have been approved by the Advertiser or from campaigns set to automatic approval. To your benefit, we strongly encourage our Advertisers to approve commissions at least twice a week.
